There is one thing that most people don't have when they have everything, and that is appreciation. Those that don't have much, in contrast, tend to have this intangible in great abundance.

It is important that we practice good habits so that we may be maximally sensitive to the dysphoria of bad ones.

The important question is not whether or not a person procrastinates (because most people do). Rather, the relevant question is what a person does during that procrastination period. It is how we use our time and perhaps fulfill a higher level goal that we procrastinate away from a same-level anti-goal.

There will always be several salient reasons to not do the right thing, but none of them alone, nor combined, is sufficient.
